Talent/music manager Yandy Smith, who is also a cast member on VH1‘s popular reality show Love & Hip-Hop called into radio personality TT Torrez of IPower 92.1 show in Richmond, VA to talk about a few hot topics. Smith, who is also a graduated of Howard university have been in the entertainment industry for almost a decade. She started out as an intern over at Violator before becoming Jim Jones’ manager and the president of Monami Entertainment. In her interview with TT Torrez, Smith talked about getting her start in the industry, why Kimbella was invited to Emily’s party, was Chrissy appropriated for hitting Kimbella and more. Below are a few excerpts:

On her early background in the entertainment industry:

I started out at Violator Records as soon as I came out of college. We had Tweet, Missy Elliott, 50 Cent…you name it, if they were hot, we had them at Violator. Afterwards, I branched off and I was at Atlantic Records for awhile. After Atlantic, I went and became partners with Mona Scott Young. We had a management company called Monami Entertainment and I’m the president of that company.

On why Kimbella was invited to Emily B’s party:

You guys didn’t see when Emily invited both of us. She invited both of us at the same time. You guys see 30-second snippets of events, but at my jewelry party that was a three-hour long taping. How long did they actually show it? About 30 seconds?

On whether or not Kimbella should’ve dropped the bomb on Emily B at her own party in front of everybody:

Absolutely not!

On whether or not Chrissy was appropriate for her response to knocking Kimbella out:

Aside from that being the mother of Jewelz’s child and his girlfriend, I brought her as my friend. Whether she was invited or if she came with me, I’ve already made it clear to everybody that this is my friend. So just like if I brought one of my friends to Chrissy’s event, I wouldn’t allow one of my friends to disrespect Chrissy. It just put me in a very awkward position and at that point was close to both of them.

In last Monday’s episode of Love & Hip-Hop, Kimbella got into an ugly fight with Erica Mena. The two ladies fought after Vanderhee tossed a champagne glass at Mena, over some bad comments Mena had made regarding Vanderhee’s modeling career. The YBF recently chatted with Kimbella and she claimed that Erica “was found stripping in the Valley and giving blow jobs for $200.” Read the excerpts below:

Erica Mena has been popping off about your big fight this week. She seemed to start going in on you as soon as you opened you mouth and it was your first REAL time meeting?! She says a lot ended up on the cutting floor and the show was shaped to make her look like the bad guy. Do you agree? What’s your side of the story?

I don’t agree. She is bi-polar. In fact, she is a crack whore and you will get to see it in the rest of the episodes brought to you by VH1! She is obviously embarrassed by her actions because she really got to see who “she” really is. She doesn’t know how to conduct herself as a lady and it showed. I basically I was attacked. I tried to stay classy but she tried my patience and crossed the line. It’s crazy to hear her blaming VH1 and not herself.Even the producers were dumbfounded when all this happened.

Did you know Erica before this?

No! What’s wrong with these women? What did I do to Chrissy or Erica for them to do this to me?
I don’t know her….and I haven’t heard anything great about her. The one thing I can tell you is that folks in the industry are saying before “Love & Hip Hop,” she was found stripping in the Valley and giving blow jobs for $200. So that is the career that me and VH1 are ruining?

Erica said she didn’t call the cops. is this true? Were any police reports filed?

There is a police report filed. She did call the cops…and she was going to press charges (she didn’t). She called the cops because her face was cut. But wait, isn’t she from the Bronx but she’s calling the po po!

There was a rumor that you and Erica were both–at the same time–sleeping with Emily B.’s baby’s daddy, rapper Fabolous, back in the day.  And that’s supposedly why Erica has beef with you.  She’s denied it.  Can you confirm or deny?

I have no idea what anybody is talking about.  I dated Fab three years ago…if she dated him three years ago….that’s fine.

Yes. And she wants to talk about me doing stuff for free? She’s not a cast member, so she’s not even getting paid to be on the shows!

Obviously, you’re having a rough time getting along with the girls.  You had a fight on your very first episode of this season with Chrissy. Why is that?  And do you plan to do another season with these ladies?

I don’t know how to answer that. We had a lot of positive things go on but the producers chose to focus on the drama. I wish they would make it more even…a little bit of positive and a little drama. Why do they focus on the negativity?
They show one aspect of my life, which is the drama I go through with females that I don’t know. It’s always a problem!

You recently tweeted about pitching a LAHH spinoff to creator Mona Scott Young. What would the spinoff entail?

I can’t comment about that, but I’m always trying to venture out and do bigger things.

I heard who it is but will NOT reveal which cast member is pregnant at this time. I will say, Chrissy, Yandy, Olivia, Emily, and Kimbella are in a relationship. Chrissy is engaged to Jim Jones, Yandy is in a relationship, Olivia is dating a basketball player overseas, Emily is still dating Fabolous and Kimbella is dating Juelz Santana. Tonight is the finale of season 2 of Love & Hip-Hop. Juelz Santana’s baby mother Kimbella became a problem the very first episode of the show. She had a fight with Chrissy and Erica Mena. Kimbella’s name is constantly thrown in the mug and a lot of negative things have been said about her in the past. Necole BITCHIE caught up with Kimbella last week. She talked about Love & Hip Hop, why she felt the need to tell Emily that she slept with Fabolous, Chrissy and her aspiring career as a pop singer. Below are some excerpts:

So this is your first season on L&HH, what are your thoughts thus far? 

Of course it wasn’t what I expected. I don’t think there was any way I really could’ve been prepared for it but I’m really happy. But I do wish I wasn’t as nice as I was. I wish I would’ve shown my more aggressive side.

Your more aggressive side? You’ve been involved in a few conflicts already…
Yes but that’s what I mean. People take my kindness for weakness. I don’t judge anybody. Basically people pre-judge me. And watching it, I realize I should’ve had my guard up with each individual. I’m not as nice as they made me seem. Anything that comes my way, I do not back down. I hold my own. I don’t care who you are I’m gonna fight for who I am take it or leave it. Some of the girls wanted to judge me and they didn’t know me and it’s pitiful.

Ok, let’s go back to your first episode. You came to a party thrown by Emily and sort of dropped a bomb that you’d previously been involved with Fabolous. Whose idea was it to tell her?
I came in there wanting to tell her, this was my second time seeing Emily. I knew she knew, I’d heard that she knew. So I wanted to tell her and just get it out in the open before someone else brought it up. I wanted her to hear it from me. And the thing is, what they don’t show you is Emily came to me later and said, ‘Thank you for telling me cause I‘d seen your name in his phone and I was gonna ask you about it.’

I understand you wanting to tell her directly, but why then? Why at the party in front of everyone?

Because it didn’t matter where or when I told her cause everyone knew what this guy was doing to her. And even if I’d taken her to the bathroom, or pulled her aside, she still would’ve come back and told everybody at that table anyway.

So after the fight, Emily thanked you for telling her, what was the relationship between yourself and Chrissy?
Chrissy wasn’t around. She stopped production for 3 weeks she didn’t want to tape with me. So there was absolutely no relationship.

Where you want to go outside of the show?
I’m gonna launch my pop career, I sing. Not like Erica Mena. I can really sing. I’m also developing a line of watches. As well as a clothing line. And of course I’m doing my ‘Feel Pretty’ shirts which will be available on my website. My goal is to grow the band. And eventually I’ll probably start an agency for upcoming models. I want to teach them the right way to handle their careers. You don’t just model for the rest of your life. I just want to educate women. We need unity, not jealously and to help one another. It’s such a struggle out here.

Let’s talk about unity verses jealousy. Did you know Erica Mena before the show?
I do not know Erica. I had never met her in my life before what you guys saw and that’s what’s so crazy about this whole thing. She seems to have met me, maybe in her dreams. But nothing was edited out or changed. I don’t know her.

Is she lying and just making all of these allegations up?
Of course. I’ve never met her before. She’s straight lying. It’s jealousy, envy, maybe she wants to be my a friend. But I know one thing, a real woman – which obviously she’s not – wouldn’t approach the situation like that. We’ve never been friends. I don’t know this girl.

Would you do another season?
If the money’s right. I have two kids that I have to support. And now that I’m a little wiser about what this process is really like, I’m going to need a lot of things. So renegotiating my contract isn’t going to be easy. They’re going to have to come with it.

You have two boys, a 9 year old and a sixteen moth old. Would you let your kids watch the show?
No, they wouldn’t see it. My oldest son doesn’t care about it. And when my youngest son is older, I don’t think it’ll even be talked about. But I will eventually sit him down and explain to him that it’s just a show, none of this is real. Emily let’s her son watch the show and he’s like 3. He knows who I am and everything. I think that’s crazy but he’ll say things like ‘look, it’s feel pretty’.

I know you’re genuinely cool with Yandy but are you friends with any of your other cast mates in real life?
No, it’s hard for me to trust anybody. Especially after seeing the show now. Somaya’s cool but I don’t trust anybody. I thought during taping that Emily and I were cool. She used to call my phone whatever, like we were cool and then I see the show and see how she really was and how she was running back to Chrissy. But it’s cool. I get it. This was a front for Chrissy. So now I just worry about me. I’m cordial with Olivia. We don’t have any beef. I’m pretty chill.  I don’t have hate, no jealousy, I don’t bring problems to the table. When I come into the room it’s always somebody else who has the problem.

Anything else you want us to know?
I’m going to write a book and everything else I have to say will be in there.

Love & Hip-Hop season 2 came to an end this past Monday. Kimbella is capitalizing off the VH1 show and branding herself, which is a dope idea and I support her. Kimbella’s pregnancy announcement on the season finale was trending and shocking to many of the show viewers. She recently told Necole Bitchie she has big plans for the future. Kimbella is in the process of launching her pop career, tee-shirt line, modeling agency and developing watches.

Being pregnant can’t stop these hustla’s from getting checks. Yandy Smith and Kimbella of VH1‘s “Love & Hip-Hop” partied it up in a couple of clubs over the past few days. The ladies were both spotted dancing and posing for pictures at La Vie Lounge in New York last week, for Yandy’s birthday celebration which was also attended by Juelz Santana and Waka Flocka. It is being reported that  both ladies are around 4-6 months pregnant. They are still making their rounds across the states for club appearances and gigs hosting parties. Yandy and Kimbella were also spotted this weekend in Pontiac, MI were they hosted a ‘Models and Bottles’ party with reality star Deelishis and they fled over to Chicago to host a party at Factory Nightclub. Over this past weekend reality star and model Kimbella partied it up at Manhattan’s Amnesia NYC Nightclub for her birthday. Her boyfriend/kid’s father Juelz Santana and good friend/rapper Lil Kim were in attendance. For the event, Kimbella wore a $200 Angel Brinks “3 Chains” Bodysuit paired with gold pumps. Juelz Santana and his kid’s mother/girlfriend Kimbella returns to Miami. Back in February, the twosome traveled to Miami and relaxed poolside, partied it up at Club Dream and enjoyed some romantic time on a yacht. Three months later, they left their New Jersey crib and flew back to the Sunshine State for some Memorial Day Weekend festivities. This time around, Juelz and Kimbella partied it up at Cameo nightclub and hosted a pool party at Rokbar. Peep the pics below:

Last night Harlem’s own and Def Jam rapper Juelz Santana along with his girlfriend Kimbella partied at NYC’s Stage 48 with Yo Gotti, Fabolous and DJ Clue. For the club appearance, Juelz opted for a $180 Confetti Boutique Matte Tee-Shirt while Kimbella styled in a $170 Jesse Dress in Purple & Blue Multi from the brand. Kimbella’s mermaid maxi dress features a cut out in the waist area. They looked so happy together! Kimbella is such a sweetheart. We met at an event in Brooklyn last year. Juelz is actually one of my favorite rappers. I interviewed him twice. I can’t wait until he releases some new music. He is currently working on his long-awaited third studio album, Born To Lose, Built To Win, which is tentative scheduled to drop the end of this year.
